Candidates for 2009 Rush Town Council

SUSAN WOOLAVER
FOR RUSH TOWN COUNCIL

VOTE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD 2009

I was born and raised in West Henrietta and attended Rush-Henrietta School District. I went on to receive a BA in accounting from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. My husband, Dan Woolaver built our home in Rush where we moved in May 1991. I have three children,
Emily 20, Megan 17, and Charlie, 13.

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Credit Union Manager - 17 years
- R-H Central School District - 4 years
- BOCES #2 – Teachers Aide 2years

PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY

- Leary School Volunteer for various fundraisers and activities
- Volunteer Den Leader for BSA Cub Scout Pack 134
- Religious Education Teacher at St. Joseph’s Church

I enjoy being involved in my community. As a wife and mother, I’m looking forward to participating directly in the town government. I know I can make
a positive contribution by bringing a fresh perspective to a nearly one-sided Town Council. Democracy works best and stays healthy when voters have a choice of candidates and I am here to provide that choice. Because of my family’s long history of public service, I am in touch with the issues that
Rush residents care most about. Rush is a special place for our families to
live and grow for generations and our vision for the future must include the ideas and opinions of all residents.

I ask for your support on Election Day, November 3rd 2009. Thank you.
