Description: Audio of town board meeting

The Rush Town Board meeting on 3.26.14 had an update that the Dorschel project will probably be re-submitted with changes, most likely on a smaller scale. New site plans and other materials would need to be updated and a new public hearing scheduled. In other news, the town voted to create a Citizen Committee for Possible Zoning Amendments. The topics brought up in our election campaign struck a chord with residents, prompting the Town to address this. Listen to the attached audio clip to hear how it was stated and what this committee will be charged with. Below is the Town Board agenda and a statement by Dave Sluberski regarding the proposed solar energy installation from the Town newsletter and citizens’ concerns on general development.  The Town will be seeking applicants for the Citizen Committee for Zoning Amendments:  Seriously consider applying!  The Town said they will be advertising for these positions soon.
