Committed to improving our Town of Rush:
Improve fiscal responsibility and accountability – in 2010 elected officials voted a 3% raise for themselves at a time when our seniors received no increase in Social Security. We need to find administrative savings as we continue to support our services and employees.
Actively listen to “all Rush Residents and Business Owners” for effective land use planning, addressing the needs of farmers and residents interested in protecting our rural landscape and heritage.
Make “Main Street Our Street”. Let’s revitalize the Hamlet of Rush!
Achieve Open, responsive and engaging government with all residents. We will improve communication, keep everyone informed, offer a higher comfort level in participating in meetings, and provide increased access to all town officials.
Let’s be better prepared and poised for success where Business, Recreation, Town and Community activities are welcome and can all come together. (Transportation Museum, Farmers Market, newly acquired BOCES property, increasing future opportunities.)
